Killarney (Queensland - Australia)
(relates also to 4th March 2007 – below)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A male was outside looking for his cats. He was looking south (toward NSW/QLD border) over the roof of the neighbours house.  Two bright lemon-yellow lights moved from west to east in the southern sky between 15 and 30 degrees above the horizon. The lights were moving at a slow pace.  He said that the lights were as bright as Venus.  They looked to be approximately 5 miles away.  There was a consistent light source from these lights.  The top light was leading and it faded first. Then the second light that was behind and below the leading light vanished (not faded) 30 seconds after the first light faded.  From the time of spotting the lights, it was approximately one minute duration of observing these lights.  The man went on to say that there are usually no major visible stars in this area of the sky at that time of night at this time of year.  The weather was clear with no wind and a warmish temperature.  The sizes of the lights were approximately 2 millimeters at arms length.

Killarney (Queensland - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A male (same person as above [03.04.2007]), during the next morning was outside facing north when he felt the urge to look directly above him (zenith) and saw through the light cloud cover the moon, but below the cloud cover he saw the same 2 lemon-yellow lights he saw the night before.  The lights were still approximately 2 millimeters in diameter at arms length.  The lights were sitting still in the sky.  The man didn’t stay to watch what might happen, and decided to go back to bed.

5th July 2007 @ 8:45pm
Warwick (QueenslandAustralia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A male was walking his dog down McEvoy Street (near Industrial Estate), when he noticed two unusual lights in the sky over the area towards Mt Morgan and/or possibly Cherribah Resort (south).  The unusual lights were moving fast in and around the clouds in a circular motion and gave the clouds a ‘cotton wool’ glow.  The man thought it might be Min Min Lights.  The unusual lights were at all times above the tree canopy.  He said that they were the size of 2 moons.

Killarney (Queensland - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
(Personal sighting from Kay McCullock)
A large storm move through the area and once the lightening has ceased I went out to take some photos of the clouds to see if anything ‘interesting’ was maybe flying in and out of them.  I began taking photos (with my 12 mega pixel digital camera/video) looking north from Killarney over Mt Colliery.  On one of these photos I decided to zoom in 50% on the area.  With the naked eye you could only see clouds.  But one I downloaded the camera onto the laptop, I noticed a shiny and partially shadowed looking disc shaped object. All the clouds had moved north-east (behind the disc) and the western sky was clearing so there was a little sunlight shining through, hence the shiny disc. I didn’t see it with the naked eye; there were no commercial or military or other air traffic in the area; no wind, it was still; the temperature was cool. In the photo you can see a ‘haze’ around the disc.  I did not see the disc vanish or move off with the naked eye or in the camera.  Also to note, after taking that particular photo, my very full camera batter all of a sudden became flat and the camera shut down.  (See Photo at the end of these reports)

26th December 2007 @ 8:30pm
Wylie Creek (Liston, QueenslandAustralia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
Four men were leaving a property when the male who was locking the gate looked up (looking north – north-east) toward Warwick (and Cherribah Resort), he saw two yellowish lights with the intensity of a laser on a hilltop.  They were about the size of between a 5 cent and 10 cent piece at arms length.  He brought the other three men’s attention to what he was witnessing now.  For the next 25 minutes the lights were making a crescent moon pattern. They now moved above and behind some mountains, but still in view.  Now the lights began to flash at them, so the men flashed their spotlights back at the unusual lights, and then the men saw another two lights above the clouds, as if a light glow above the clouds (so now there are four lights present). Now it looked as if the lights were moving towards the men moving up and down (above and below) the tree line, but then moved back to the mountain; the lights disappeared by fading.  The men phoned Cherribah Resort and asked them if they were using their spotlights, and CR said that they did have their spotlights on at this time, but they also witnessed other unusual lights other than their large spotlights; CR described the same yellowish lights. The man who phoned me said that they go out pig hunting all the time with spotlights, and said that they know what a spotlight looks like and that these yellowish lights were in no way spotlights.  None of the men were scared; they were interested, intrigued and excited.

9th March 2008
Statement by Cherribah Resort General Managers Wife In Relation To The Spotlight UFO's:-
GMs Wife said that during these times, Cherribah was using their very large spotlights, especially during the Christmas and Easter seasons, school holidays or other special occasions.  On some occasions (very rarely) that when the spotlights are turned off at 9:30pm (they never normally go past this time) that ‘other – unusual’ lights would appear that mimicked the spotlights from above the clouds, and would shine on the top of and into the clouds but never see a beam of light come through the clouds.  Also, they would only appear when there were clouds.

Conclusion: This investigation is a preliminary one as some of the witnesses are not sure if they still want to be interviewed.  Hopefully I will have more detailed info in the future. I have plotted out a map of these events – most of the witnesses’ were looking toward Cherribah Resort; others were possibly witnessing something different, and that’s what I will be following up.  Even though earthly spotlights have been involved and that part is solved, the possible unearthly or non-terrestrial Spotlight like UFOs is still a mystery and has not been seen since April 2008.  Will they visit again at Christmas?  This time I’ll be ready and watching!

4th April 2008 @ 8:30pm
Murray’s Bridge (QueenslandAustralia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
(Personal sighting of Warwick’s Spotlight UFOs)
My friend and I were driving home from Warwick on Killarney-Warwick Road; we first saw the lights at Murray’s Bridge between Derreen Road and Cullendore Road (turn-off to Cherribah Resort, and a hot-spot area for people who have been ‘buzzed’ by UFOs). So… we decided to follow the lights. The closer we got to Cherribah Resort the easier it was to see that it was their giant spot lights – and it was cloudy and drizzling rain.  From the road and where others have seen the lights there have usually been trees or buildings in the way or a fair distance between.  From afar the lights do look disc shaped and really illuminate the clouds.

12th June 2008 @ 7:30pm
Killarney (Queensland - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A male (in the aviation industry) witnessed two different unusual lights in the sky (eastern horizon).  These lights were in flight paths of normal commercial airlines but he said they weren’t normal.  Object 1Orange object on eastern horizon moved across the sky (low to the mountain top / horizon) from south to north and then faded.  Object 2 – Bright star like light on eastern horizon faded in and out at the same time orange light appeared and faded.  The bright like light faded out too.

May 2008 to July 2008 between 7:30pm to 8:00pm
Urbenville (New South Wales - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A male reported witnessing an unusual light over a period of 2 months (May to July 2008).  It always appears at the same time in the evening between 7:30pm until 8:00pm, in the south above Crown Mountain (also known as the Bee Hive). The light moves to the east and then fades out.  He said that it is white in colour and star size.  He also mentioned that he has measured it as 12 fingers above the horizon at arms length.

1st August 2008 @ 1:30pm
Killarney (Queensland - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
(Another personal experience from Kay)
'Light Anomalies and Telepathy’. My cat and I have a very strong bond.  He gets into my head sometimes (cat lovers will know what I mean).  Anyhow, I was up late, and he came in the front door, sat and gave me his ‘quick, come outside, something amazing is about to happen’ look… so I did.  He sat on our picnic table and looked toward the gully (south-east), so I did too.  After a few minutes, two small (1/2 the size of a 1c piece) ruby red spheres / orbs (solid shape; not translucent), came up out of the ground, gently moved through the trees, and around each other, and then moved over the field next door (no crop in ground at present).  Once they moved to the field, they flew fairly quickly across it for about 100 meters, and then went back into the earth.  I then went to bed.

7th August 2008 Early Evening
Allora (Queensland - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A male traveling by car from Clifton to Allora (traveling south) noticed a person standing on the road looking south (toward Stanthorpe).  The person appeared to be male, had pale to almost pearl / translucent skin, whitish hair, white clothes, and on a dragster type of a bike that was also all white.  The male who is driving slowed down a little, and noticed that the pale person was looking at a very bright orange object (at arms length approximately 2 millimetres).  The object appeared to be growing in size, and as it did, it glowed brighter.  The man driving didn’t stop, as he had to get to Warwick for an appointment.

29th or 30th December 2008 @ 8:30pm
Goomburra Valley via Warwick / Cunninghams Gap (QueenslandAustralia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A father (known as MA from now on), his daughter and her friends over the New Year period were camping at Goomburra Valley Camp Ground.  MA had to go back into Warwick for his daughter. Upon returning to GVCG, he took the Gladfield route off the Cunningham Highway.  In front of his a Bright Orange Star-like Object appeared and moved slowly; the object was low to the horizon (at this time).  As MA drove closer to the Object, he had an ‘urge’ to flash his car lights at it, and when he did, the Object ‘Intelligently’ flashed back and then began to move closer; as it moved closer the Object became brighter. As the Object moved closer, MA also began to feel (emotionally) REALLY happy (which he has felt in the past during this type of an encounter).  MA was now 5 to 6 kms out of the small township of Goomburra, and this is where he saw the Object move behind a small hill.  Before it did this, it turned to the left towards the hill and then moved into the valley behind it.  MA drove closer to the Object and was now approximately 2kms away from it.  The Object was now stationery and was not the colour of orange anymore.  It was now two white lights, separated by about a distance of ½ inch at arms length.  The Object now tilted up to show its underbelly and was actually a Triangular Craft, with three white lights at each corner and the middle light was a very pale yellow.  All of the lights were the same size.  The Crafts colour was black (against the night sky); the size of the craft was now about ½ to ¾ of an inch across at arms length. The Craft now lowered itself and looked flat.  Then some little lights (white) rotated horizontally around the middle of the craft and then a little light was strobbing between the two original white lights.  The two original white lights closed up (came together) and then moved apart a few times.  The Craft was approximately 200mtrs above the ground.  MA estimated he watched the Craft up this close for approximately five minutes; it then lifted off gracefully and few towards Brisbane.

31st December 2008 @ 7:30pm
Mount Colliery (Queensland - Australia)
Investigator - Kay McCullock ND
A 17yr old male witnessed a fuzzy pale soft white light below the horizon in-front of Mount Colliery (north-east looking from their home in the township of Mt Collery).  After a few seconds the son called his father to come and look at the light. The father described it in the exact same way.  When they looked at the light in an indirect fashion (looking slightly either left or right or above or below) it, the light seemed to spin and move around; when looking at the light directly it remained stationary.  The light disappeared by fading.  They also said that they have seen this same light on other occasions in the same area and also in other areas nearby; as well as seeing other unusual lights moving on a regular basis.

**Note** The father and son also confirmed my (Kay McCullock) personal sighting of a brilliant blue light / sphere moving at a medium pace along the mountain ridge that separates Mount Colliery and Killarney; and also of similar blue lights that have been witnessed in Stanthorpe.  I will publish more information in relation to the blue lights when I’ve found exact dates and conducted interviews (hopefully in the Dec/Jan issue of UFO Encounter).
